Fiction has appeared in the Kartika Review, Asians in America Magazine, Audience, Johnny America, Story Philippines and elsewhere.

In addition to writing fiction, I am a graduate student in English at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La., where I received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. I worked as a newspaper feature writer for 8 years at the American Press newspaper and have also worked as a proofreader, JCPenney shoe salesperson and, for three long months, a fast-food cashier at a local seafood restaurant. Now I work as a copywriter for a marketing agency.
